What’s involved in tree stump removal
After a tree is felled to ground level, the stump may need to be removed. This process involves using a machine to grind the stump until the stump and roots are destroyed. The stump may also be treated to prevent re-growth and restore the look of the area.
A stump may need to be removed for a number of reasons. It may just be to create more space, or to reduce the risk of tripping over the tree stump left from the felled tree. More importantly though, new shoots can arise from the trunk and roots and host root diseases such as fungal rot, so aren’t worth leaving in and taking the risk.
Here at Avon Tree Care we have all the necessary equipment and experience to help you with all types of tree stump removal. So for more information or a quote please get in touch.
